My auditions get grittier and grittier. Criminals, addicts,, racists. These people aren’t nasty, though. Just misunderstood. Right? I’m going to focus my marketing on this type. Such fun playing these characters.

I’ve been learning Spanish on Duo Lingo for 81 days straight, so I listed “Basic Spanish” as a special skill on my Actors Access profile. My agent got me an audition for a bilingual guest star role on a new Netflix drama. So amazing. Fantastico!

Speaking at UMass
Contacted by the Film Department at UMass Amherst to speak about my career. Can’t wait! I always think my career leans toward theatre, not film. But maybe that’s not true.

I got five, yes five, CMail Notifications last Friday. Audition requests from two major TV shows, a very major filmmaker, and two indies. I had to say no to the indie auditions due to time constraints. It’s been so slow and then this. You just have to go with the flow and stay relaxed. I’m thrilled and grateful but man. Unprecedented.
em-PATHETIC Reading
So great to do a performance /reading of my Solo Show “em-PATHETIC”. Really helpful talk back afterwards. I know where I need to go next with more rewrites. It’s a process but I’m getting there.
Second Act It
Finally finished rewriting the second act of “em-PATHETIC”, my Solo Show. I’m doing a reading/performance/workshop of it at Ripley Grier on February 11. Rehearsing with my director, Nancy Robillard, in the city. Taking those steps.

Self taped for a Co Star in HBO’s crime drama, Task. Thanks to my PA agent Tara Graham at ITS Talent. Then taped for some small roles on Zero Day, thanks to Park Artists.
Short Film
i wrote a short film for my Art and Life class. My challenge was to write something very dark. Hence “The Contract” about the dangers of AI and the new SAG contract. Proud of creating this film.

Got new pics taken by Matt Simpkins in Brooklyn. He’s so fabulous. I’ve made my choices. Now I’m just waiting for him to retouch them. So glad I’m blonde now. A whole new lighter me.
